What Is A Clubhouse?
A Clubhouse is a community-based service dedicated to supporting and empowering people living with mental illness, known as Clubhouse members. Based on the Clubhouse Model of psychosocial rehabilitation, each Clubhouse offers a collaborative, restorative environment where Clubhouse members can recover by gaining access to opportunities for employment, socialization, education, skill development, housing and improved wellness.
Organized around the belief that every individual has something valuable to contribute to society, Clubhouses effectively help people build self- confidence and end the social and economic isolation so often associated with mental illness.
The Story of Star Light Clubhouse
Founded in 1987, Star Light Center is a Clubhouse model program located in Florence, MA that serves all of Hampshire County. Our members come from a diverse background that mirrors our local community. Our program focuses on an individuals strengths on their road to recovery. Primarily focused on Employment, Education and Housing supports, Star Light Center also assists members in finding quality psychiatric and medical treatment.

How To Become A Member
Contact the Star Light House at 413-586-8255 to schedule a tour and complete a referral form. Referrals are available here on website or visit in person to pick up at Star Light House Monday-Friday between 8am and 4pm. Tours are available Monday through Friday during hours of operation.
